About Ligne de pente

Ligne de pente (French for "fall line") is an independent, bilingual publication about the 2010 UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships at Mont-Sainte-Anne, Québec, and about mountain biking on the Côte-de-Beaupré more generally. Most pages are in French; the English pages cover the races, the season and practical topics for international readers.

What we publish

How our pages are prepared

What we are not

We are not the UCI, a cycling federation, the Mont-Sainte-Anne resort or the 2010 organising committee. We sell no tickets, recruit no volunteers, handle no registrations and use no official logos. The site carries no advertising or sponsored content, sets no cookies and uses no analytics.

About this domain

Around 2010 this domain name was used by the website of a different project. That project ended long ago and the domain then lay dormant. Ligne de pente is a new and independent publication: it has no connection with the original project, its people, partners or sponsors, and it does not claim to continue it or to be its official site.

We chose to cover the same subject, the 2010 sporting event, because many readers still arrive here looking for information about it. Rather than leave them on an empty page, we wrote new pages on the same topics at the addresses they visit most. Those pages do not reproduce the original content, and old documents that match no topic we cover have been removed.
