Who to contact about the 2010 championships, and about this site

This page used to belong to the organising committee of the 2010 championships. That committee's work ended long ago, and Ligne de pente, the independent publication now on this domain, is not its successor. To save you time, here is who can actually answer your question.

Official results and rankings

Complete, official results of the 2010 UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships, including times, gaps and nation rankings, are kept by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the world governing body of cycling, based in Aigle, Switzerland. Its website publishes results archives and regulations. National federations, such as Cycling Canada for Canadian riders, can also help with questions about selections and athletes' records.

Our own summaries are on the results page and the cross-country page, with one-page PDF sheets for each cross-country race.

The venue

Questions about riding at Mont-Sainte-Anne today, trail passes, bike rental, lift opening dates or future events should go to the resort itself, through its official website. Event schedules change from year to year, and only the resort and current event organisers can confirm them.

Travel and accommodation

For lodging, transport and things to do in the region, the regional tourism offices for the Côte-de-Beaupré and for Québec City publish up-to-date directories. Our lodging page gives general advice on where to stay during a race.

Volunteering at bike events

We do not recruit volunteers. Local cycling clubs, the provincial cycling federation and regional volunteer centres are the right places to start; see our volunteering page for what to expect.

Media archives and photos

Photographs and press material from 2010 belong to their authors and to the organisations that commissioned them. We cannot supply them. The photos on this site are free-licence images from Wikimedia Commons; each one is credited on our credits page, with its licence.

Contacting Ligne de pente

Ligne de pente is an independent editorial project that writes about the 2010 championships. It is not affiliated with the UCI, the 2010 organisers or the resort, and it sells nothing. Requests about our content, such as a correction to a result, a missing source or a photo credit, are handled by the editors as described in our legal notice. When we correct a factual error, we update the page and note the change.
